A city hotel needed its own simple channel where guests could book, manage reservations, see member benefits, and ask for help during their stay.

Case study
What does a guest need to see, and when, to book with confidence and get help without calling the front desk?
Follow the guest journey from discovery to check-out, show price, cancellation, and payment terms at the moment of choice, and keep every task to a few taps.
A working prototype with four tabs, 12 room types, vouchers, saved bookings, and in-stay service requests.
A mobile booking app for a Vienna Hotels property in China, designed so guests can book a room, manage their stay, and request services in one place. I designed the user flows, interface, and visual system, and delivered it as a working prototype the hotel owner could test on a phone.
The app is organised into four tabs (Hotel, Stay, Member, and Bookings), each answering what a guest needs at that moment: rating and price first, clear cancellation terms before booking, a one-page checkout, and in-stay requests without calling the front desk. The Ivory Line Gold palette, taken from the hotel's rooftop sign, keeps pages white and saves gold and soft gradients for the key moments.
01 / Discover the hotel
The home tab answers the first questions a guest has: what the hotel looks like, how others rate it, and what a night costs.
02 / Choose a room
Twelve room types are browsed through photo-led cards; prices and rules only expand when a guest asks for them.
03 / Book and manage
Everything a guest needs to confirm sits on one page, and the confirmation is something they can act on straight away.
04 / During the stay
Once a guest links their room, the Stay tab becomes a quiet service desk for towels, water, and housekeeping.
05 / Membership and trust
Membership and reviews give returning guests a reason to book direct instead of through a travel platform.
